Natalie and Patrick’s wedding at Ravensthorpe Estate was one of those weddings where from the second you arrive, you just know it is going to be a good one. And somehow it ended up being even better than that.
I know I say I love every wedding, which is true, but this one has to be up there as one of my favourites I have ever photographed.
Natalie and Patrick have known each other since they were kids, which meant there was something really special about this whole day. Watching them finally get married after all these years, with two very close families cheering them on, was pretty incredible. There were so many happy tears, big hugs and people saying “I cannot believe this is finally happening”.
These two are honestly just the sweetest. The entire day they were either laughing, looking at each other like no one else existed or getting completely emotional. Patrick could not stop smiling and Natalie somehow looked calm, excited and absolutely stunning all at once.
Ravensthorpe Estate was the perfect spot for it all. The gardens were beautiful, the light was amazing and every part of the day felt relaxed and fun. Nothing felt too serious or too formal. It just felt like one big celebration with all of their favourite people.
The speeches were an absolute highlight. Equal parts hilarious and emotional. One minute everyone was crying, the next they were laughing so hard they could barely breathe. Then came the dance floor, which was packed immediately and stayed that way all night.
Natalie and Patrick threw the kind of wedding that you never want to leave. So much love, so much fun and the best people all in one place.
